Why the book club makes these selections
Reese’s Book Club describes its monthly choice as “a book with a woman at the center of the story.” Its complete-list introduction also says there is no fixed formula for the books it spotlights. The club’s FAQ describes its ethos in terms of honesty, sincerity, women’s experiences, and new voices and perspectives. These are the organization’s own descriptions of its approach, not a formal rule applied to every book.
