Robin Thicke and April Love Geary were first linked in late 2014, appeared together publicly at Cannes in May 2015, welcomed three children, became engaged in 2018, and married in Cabo San Lucas on May 30, 2025. The timeline below distinguishes those reported milestones from the couple’s private dating history.
2014–2015: First reports and a public appearance
Us Weekly places the first reports linking Thicke and Geary in late 2014, after Thicke and Paula Patton announced their separation earlier that year. That reporting does not establish the exact date Thicke and Geary met or began dating.

In May 2015, the couple made what Us Weekly describes as their first official appearance together at the Cannes Film Festival.
2017–2018: Their first child and engagement
Geary announced in August 2017 that she and Thicke were expecting their first child. Us Weekly reproduced her announcement: “Robin and I are very excited to share with you all that we’re having a baby!”

Their daughter Mia was born in February 2018. Thicke’s birth announcement, as quoted by Us Weekly, read: “On 2/22 at 13:33 Mia Love Thicke was born.”
Thicke proposed during the holidays in December 2018, according to Us Weekly, which places the engagement that month. LBC also reports that he proposed in 2018.

2019–2020: Two more children
The couple’s second daughter, Lola Alain, was born on February 26, 2019, Us Weekly reports. Their son Luca Patrick was born on December 11, 2020, according to the outlet. Mia, Lola and Luca are the couple’s three children.
2021–2024: Family life and a daily reset
In December 2021, Geary reflected on raising three young children. Us Weekly reproduced her remarks: “This is 27! If you would’ve told 16-year-old April that you were going to have 3 kids under 4 by the time you’re 27, I would’ve said you’re crazy,” she wrote, adding, “But I love my life and my family so much.”
In November 2024, Thicke described their approach to the relationship as starting fresh each day. Us Weekly quoted him: “Just start fresh every day with, ‘I love you, you love me. Let’s just keep on rocking,’”

During a trip to Cannes shortly before the wedding, Thicke proposed again with a new ring, according to Geary’s statement reported by LBC. She said: “Robin surprised me during our trip to Cannes by proposing to me again with a new ring that one of my best friends @nikkiwhatnikkiwho @establishedjewelry made. I’m so obsessed with it, thank you!!!”

Thicke and Geary married in Cabo San Lucas on May 30, 2025, TMZ reports; LBC also reports that the wedding took place in Cabo. LBC says their youngest child served as ring bearer, and TMZ reports that all three children were present.
