Who the In Memoriam tribute remembered
ABC described the segment as a tribute to actors, filmmakers, executives and craftspeople. It was a broad remembrance of film-industry figures, not a tribute exclusively to Tina Turner and Matthew Perry. ABC’s March 10 recap points readers to the full gallery at A.Frame, the Academy’s Guide to the Movies.
The recap’s text does not establish Turner’s or Perry’s precise position in the segment, how either was shown, or how long either appeared onscreen. Those individual details should not be inferred from the recap; consult the Academy gallery or official footage to confirm them.
