Qin Shi Huang is humanity’s fighter in the seventh battle of Record of Ragnarok, where he faces Hades. The series presents him as China’s First Emperor and “the king of all beginnings”; his blindfold is a defining part of his introduction, though the official English descriptions cited here do not explain its cause.
Qin Shi Huang’s role in Record of Ragnarok
The official anime character profile introduces him as “The First Emperor Qin Shi Huang” and calls him “the king of all beginnings.” In the series’ framing, he was the first to unite China and came close to becoming the heavenly ruler. These are character details from the fictional story, not a historical biography.
Who does Qin Shi Huang fight?
Qin represents humanity in Round 7, against Hades. Netflix describes the round as the battle that breaks a 3–3 tie between the gods and humans. Netflix’s series page gives that match context, while the official anime profile identifies Qin as the First Emperor.
Why does Qin Shi Huang wear a blindfold?
The blindfold is part of Qin’s introduction, but the official English-language descriptions cited here do not give a detailed explanation of why he prefers to fight blindfolded. VIZ raises the question in its synopsis for Volume 15, without resolving it in the synopsis itself. That leaves the precise explanation to the story rather than establishing one from the available official character copy.
