Before Young Sheldon ended, Raegan Revord said she thought fans would be happy with how the story played out. That was the actor’s pre-finale expectation—not a measured verdict shared by every viewer. The one-hour series finale was scheduled to air on CBS on May 16, 2024, amid emotional stakes that made “happy” more complicated than a simple, cheerful ending.
What Raegan Revord said about the ending
Revord, who played Missy Cooper, was quoted as predicting that fans would be pleased with the way the finale unfolded. The report also relayed her cryptic tease: “Rice-A-Roni” would tie things together, even though the reference did not make sense to her at the time.

Why “happy” did not mean uncomplicated
A pre-broadcast promise of a satisfying conclusion is not the same as a promise that the finale would avoid grief. TVLine’s preview highlighted George Cooper’s death as a major emotional event. That context helps explain how an ending could aim to satisfy viewers while still asking them to sit with loss.

CBS reported that Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik reprised their Big Bang Theory roles for the finale. Its 2024 coverage also described streaming through Paramount+. That is historical availability information; it does not confirm whether the episodes are currently included in a particular country’s catalog or subscription tier.

Ultimately, Revord’s remark captures what she hoped viewers would feel before the finale aired. The sources establish the scheduled date, returning roles, and the emotional event emphasized in a preview, but not a universal audience verdict on whether the ending was happy or satisfying.
