PerthNow’s 2014 photo special marked STM magazine’s tenth anniversary by revisiting ten models who had appeared on its covers between 2004 and 2013. It offered a snapshot of their careers at that time—not a current biography or a ranked list of the magazine’s “top” models.
What the anniversary feature set out to show
Published on 30 August 2014, PerthNow’s feature looked back at STM’s first decade, beginning with the magazine’s 2004 launch. Its “then and now” sequence connected cover appearances with career notes reported in 2014, framing local talent through work in fashion and entertainment beyond Western Australia. The feature selected ten cover models but did not explain a ranking method or claim to measure how many careers STM launched.
Two people quoted in the story described the magazine’s role from their own perspectives. Model Jessica Gomes called STM “a real launching pad for so many young models.” Christine Fox, identified as head of Vivien’s Model Management in Perth, said it was “provide an invaluable vehicle to showcase our new and established models,” adding, “From fashion spreads, editorial coverage, feature stories and profiles.” These are personal and industry assessments, not independently measured outcomes.
The ten models, in cover-year order
The following career notes reflect how PerthNow described each person in 2014. They should be read as a historical snapshot, not as a guide to anyone’s present-day work or circumstances.

What the list does—and does not—establish
The sequence documents the cover years and career descriptions PerthNow chose to include. It is useful as an anniversary-era record of how STM and the newspaper presented these models in 2014, but it cannot establish their current biographies, the full history of their careers, or the magazine’s measurable effect on those careers. The story also promoted an upcoming tenth-birthday edition; that historical promotion is not evidence that the issue is currently available.
