Pandora’s official account says Pamela Anderson wore 24 carats of lab-grown diamonds at the 2025 Met Gala. A Times of India report gave a different total—35 carats—so that figure should be treated as a disputed report, not a settled fact.
Why reports give two different totals
Pandora’s May 6, 2025 press release identifies 24 carats as the total for the lab-grown diamonds Anderson wore from its Era collection. The company says the stones were repurposed from her 2024 Met Gala look. Pandora’s announcement is the primary source for the jewelry it created.
The Times of India reported a 35-carat total and attributed an ear-cuff and brooch breakdown—17.45 and 15.45 carats, respectively—to InStyle. That report does not explain how its total relates to Pandora’s 24-carat figure. The available accounts therefore establish a source conflict, not that the figures measure different parts of the look. The Times of India’s report is best read with that qualification.

What jewelry did Anderson wear?
Anderson wore Pandora diamond climber earrings with a custom Tory Burch gown. Harper’s Bazaar described the gown as silver and crystal-embellished; Vanity Fair called it a custom sculptural icy-blue design. The differing descriptions are accounts of the same red-carpet look. The jewelry had a personal connection to Anderson’s first Met Gala appearance. She told Vanity Fair that her 2024 necklace was transformed into an ear cuff and a brooch for her son, Brandon Thomas Lee, with the original diamonds reused: “We used the same diamonds, and it’s just really kind of a clever way to keep using what you have.” Read the Vanity Fair interview.
How the 2024 necklace fits in
Harper’s Bazaar reported that Anderson’s 2024 debut necklace used 200 carats of custom white and pink Pandora lab-grown diamonds. That is the reported weight of the earlier necklace—not the total Pandora gave for her 2025 jewelry. Pandora described the 2025 pieces as repurposed from the earlier look, while Anderson said the necklace’s diamonds were used in the ear cuff and brooch.
