What does “Bad Romance” mean here?
“Bad Romance” works as editorial shorthand for a relationship entangled with fantasy and instability. It should not be taken as proof that Folie à Deux uses Lady Gaga’s song “Bad Romance,” or that the filmmakers identified it as a deliberate reference. The available reporting does not establish either claim.
The distinction matters: Gaga’s presence and the film’s use of music can invite that association, but an interpretive comparison is not the same as a confirmed musical choice or creator intention.
