Pokémon Horizons: The Series premiered in Canada on March 2, 2024. The Pokémon Company International announced that the series would launch exclusively on Cartoon Network and Télétoon; the date is a past premiere, not an upcoming broadcast.
When did Pokémon Horizons premiere in Canada?
The announced Canadian premiere date was March 2, 2024. The Pokémon Company International’s announcement, reproduced by PocketMonsters.Net, named Cartoon Network and Télétoon as the exclusive Canadian outlets for the launch. MobileSyrup’s November 2023 report also confirmed the date and channels.
What was Télétoon’s launch schedule?
French-language Canadian coverage reported that Télétoon’s Saturday, March 2 launch began at noon and included two episodes. The report did not identify a time zone, and this describes the launch day only—not a regular or current schedule. TVQC’s coverage gives that launch detail.
Who are the new leads?
The series follows new protagonists Liko and Roy, whose partner Pokémon are Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, according to MobileSyrup. This was a new lead pair for the series, rather than a continuation centered on the prior anime’s familiar protagonist.

Where can Canadians watch it now?
The 2024 premiere announcement establishes the original Canadian broadcast outlets, not present-day availability. A later Pokémon Company International announcement said Season 3—Rising Hope Part 2—would arrive on Netflix on March 20, 2026, but that U.S. news item does not confirm whether the season is currently in Netflix’s Canadian catalogue. Check the Canadian Netflix catalogue or current local listings for availability.
