Contemporary coverage described Charlotte as smiling or beaming; that visible expression is what the footage can show, not what she privately felt.

Catherine attended the men’s final with Princess Charlotte and took her seat in the Royal Box. The crowd gave her a standing ovation as she arrived at Centre Court.
