A short excerpt of Pokémon’s Super Bowl LX commercial was reported online on February 6, 2026, two days before the game. The clip was described as about five seconds long and showed Lady Gaga with Jigglypuff, Charles Leclerc with Arcanine, and Young Miko with Gengar. The report attributed the circulating clip to a fan account; it did not establish who originally leaked it. Pokémon later published an official page for the completed commercial.
What the reported leak showed
Brazilian outlet Omelete reported on February 6 that a short excerpt—described as about five seconds—was circulating online. Its account said the clip had been posted by the fan account Lady Gaga Now. That attribution describes how the excerpt was reported to have circulated; it does not confirm the clip’s original source or show that Pokémon authenticated the leak.
The excerpt reportedly featured three pairings:
- Lady Gaga with Jigglypuff
- Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc with Arcanine
- Young Miko with Gengar
Because the material was only a brief excerpt, it did not establish that these were the commercial’s only celebrities or Pokémon. Omelete’s February 6 report is the source for the excerpt’s estimated length, reported contents, and attribution.
Why Pokémon had a Super Bowl commercial
The leak report came after Pokémon had already announced a special video for Super Bowl LX. On February 4, GameSpot reported that the spot was part of the franchise’s 30th-anniversary celebration. The Pokémon Company International president Kenji Okubo described the campaign’s goal as reflecting fans and their fandom across generations: “As we look to the next 30 years and beyond, we invite Trainers to join in celebrating this landmark milestone, starting with Super Bowl LX, where they’ll see themselves and their fandom reflected in unexpected ways.”

That announcement framed the spot as an anniversary celebration. It does not establish that the commercial announced a new game or promoted a particular product. See GameSpot’s February 4 coverage for the announcement and Okubo’s attributed statement.

Super Bowl LX took place on February 8, 2026.
