Who was Nick Mangold’s wife?
Mangold’s wife is identified as Jennifer in his funeral-home obituary and as Jenny in the Jets’ statement and the team’s 2011 media guide. These sources use two forms of her name; they do not indicate two different spouses.
The Jets’ 2011 media guide says Nick and Jenny married in April 2007. It also reports that their first child, Matthew, was born in 2011. The guide does not establish the children’s exact ages or birth dates.
Who are Nick Mangold’s children?
The four children named in both the Jets’ statement and the funeral-home obituary are Matthew, Eloise, Thomas and Charlotte.

What did the Jets say about Mangold’s family?
In its October 26, 2025, statement, the Jets publicly named Jenny and the four children while announcing Mangold’s death. Chairman Robert Wood Johnson offered condolences “to Jenny, their four children—Matthew, Eloise, Thomas, and Charlotte,” as well as to Mangold’s extended family, friends and others who loved him.

When did Nick Mangold die?
Madison Memorial Funeral Home’s obituary reports that Nicholas Allan Mangold died on October 25, 2025, at age 41. The Jets issued its statement the following day.

In a letter to the “NY Jets community,” reproduced in the team’s obituary, Mangold wrote: “In 2006, I was diagnosed with a genetic defect that has led to chronic kidney disease.” He said he was undergoing dialysis while seeking a kidney transplant. This is his account of his own health, not medical guidance.
