Aqua Hoshino is Ai Hoshino’s son and Ruby’s twin brother. He carries the memories of his previous life as Gorou, an obstetrician-gynecologist, and enters show business to investigate who killed Ai. The official Season 3 anime profile also says he has formally begun dating Akane Kurokawa.
Who is Aqua Hoshino?
Aqua is one of Ai Hoshino’s children and the twin brother of Ruby. The official anime character profile identifies the twins and describes Aqua’s past life; the official live-action story synopsis likewise identifies Aqua and Ruby as Ai’s children.
Is Aqua the same person as Gorou?
In the story’s reincarnation premise, Aqua retains the memories of his previous life as Gorou, an obstetrician-gynecologist. Gorou is not simply an alias or someone Aqua resembles: Aqua’s memories connect him to that former life, as the current official anime profile explains.
Why does Aqua enter the entertainment industry?
Ai’s murder becomes the driving force behind Aqua’s investigation. He enters the entertainment industry to search for the person responsible; the current anime profile says he is trying to identify the true culprit. The Season 1 profile gives the same central motivation: finding the person who killed his mother.
