Film, theater and other shared projects
In 2013, they appeared together in the film The Kings of Summer and starred in Sharr White’s play Annapurna. The Los Angeles Times profile also notes their work on Childrens Hospital and Bob’s Burgers. Mullally summed up their affection simply: “We just like each other.” Later in the same profile, she said, “Humor is the glue.” Those are her descriptions of their partnership, not a formula they offer for every relationship.
