PerthNow described the event as drawing “thousands of fans,” but it did not report an independently verified attendance count.
What happened at the Sydney pop-up?
In a report published on 29 February 2024, PerthNow said Paul appeared at a Sydney mall the previous Wednesday, 28 February, for the toothpaste promotion. The newspaper described the mall as “jam-packed with thousands of fans.” That wording is PerthNow’s crowd description, not an audited headcount.
PerthNow also reported that Paul was closely flanked by security, took selfies and signed autographs. After the event, she thanked attendees in an Instagram caption quoted by the outlet: “Thank you so much to everyone who came out to our pop-up in Sydney this weekend!”
Which toothpaste was launched?
The product was a Hismile and Anna Paul collaboration, identified as Cotton Candy toothpaste. Hismile co-founder Nik Mirkovic called it “Hismile x Paullie Cotton Candy Toothpaste” in a LinkedIn post. He wrote: “Today we launched Anna’s very own flavoured toothpaste, and it just so happened to be one of our most requested flavours…Cotton Candy.” His description is company-side promotional commentary.
