The reported One Piece × Los Angeles Lakers crossover night was held on February 28, 2025, at Crypto.com Arena. An IMDb News listing that attributes its report to CBR says attendees would receive a Lakers × One Piece T-shirt and poster, and describes a One Piece Bounty Rush photo opportunity on the arena’s main concourse. That is an event-giveaway report, not proof that the shirt or poster went on general sale. A separate, later official BANDAI SPIRITS product program introduced commercial One Piece × NBA collectibles, including Luffy figures in Lakers and other team versions.
What was the exclusive One Piece Lakers merchandise?
The February 28, 2025 event listing describes two keepsakes for attendees: a limited-edition Lakers × One Piece T-shirt and a commemorative poster featuring the Straw Hat Pirates in Lakers purple and gold. It also reports a One Piece Bounty Rush photo opportunity on the main concourse at Crypto.com Arena.
The event details are available through an IMDb News listing attributed to CBR. A primary announcement from the Lakers or Toei could not be verified, so the giveaway description should be treated as a secondary report. The listing does not establish the number of items, additional eligibility rules, or a retail release. It is not evidence that the T-shirt or poster can now be purchased from an authorized seller.
Is the event giveaway the same as the One Piece × NBA figures?
No. The game-night items were reported as attendee giveaways tied to a Lakers event. The figures belong to a separate commercial merchandise program announced by BANDAI SPIRITS on November 21, 2025. That official announcement named six team versions of a MASTER STARS PIECE Luffy figure: Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, and Memphis Grizzlies.

What are the official Luffy figure details?
BANDAI SPIRITS listed the MASTER STARS PIECE Luffy figure at ¥9,900 including Japanese consumption tax, approximately 17 cm tall, and for ages 15 and up. The announcement gave December 5, 2025 as the first release date at ONE PIECE BASE SHOP. It also named Premium Bandai and, for specified Asian markets, Premium Bandai Asia and NBA official physical stores as sales channels. Those named routes are market-specific, not a guarantee of availability in every country.
The manufacturer also announced six team versions of CHOPPER’s plush, planned for March 2026, and a LUFFY’s NBA uniform-icon blind-box line planned for 2026. Those were announced schedules and may change; they should not be read as confirmation of current stock.

For the commercial figure line, search for “One Piece NBA Luffy figure” or the more specific “One Piece x NBA S.H.Figuarts Luffy.” Check the team version, product line, seller, and market before ordering: the MASTER STARS PIECE and S.H.Figuarts listings are distinct products, and official sales routes vary by region.
