OMEGA introduced this Seamaster Diver 300M to mark 60 years of James Bond on screen. The reference is 210.55.42.20.99.001. It is a specific precious-metal edition, not a gold-colored version of the stainless steel anniversary watch.
OMEGA describes Canopus Gold as an 18K white-gold alloy containing platinum, rhodium, and palladium, and says it has used the alloy since 2015. The case and mesh bracelet are both made in Canopus Gold.
How its design connects to Bond
Grey dial and colored diamond bezel
The dial is natural grey silicon. OMEGA says its tone evokes sand at Bond’s Caribbean hideaway. A unidirectional rotating bezel carries shaded green and yellow treated diamonds, with two diamonds at 12 o’clock. The official James Bond site connects those colors to the Jamaican flag and the Canopus Gold edition to Ian Fleming’s Jamaican home and Bond’s first adventure, Dr. No.

Animated sapphire caseback
A sapphire display on the caseback uses micro-structured metallisation to create a moiré animation of the Bond silhouette and spinning gun-barrel opening sequence. OMEGA links the effect’s motion to the lollipop seconds hand.

OMEGA’s product description specifies a mango-tree box with mother-of-pearl marquetry and a 60 Years of Bond logo.
