Yes. Omar Apollo and Daniel Craig appear together in an early sex scene in Luca Guadagnino’s 2024 film Queer. Apollo’s brief appearance is separate from the film’s central relationship between Craig’s William Lee and Drew Starkey’s Eugene Allerton.
What happens in the scene?
A24’s production notes identify Apollo as appearing with Craig in an early sex scene. The Advocate identifies Apollo’s character credit as “Chimu bar guy,” while Them describes the character as unnamed. His appearance is brief, rather than a central role in the film.

Apollo told The Advocate: “I got the call and [they] told me about the scene and how explicit it was. I instantly just said yes. I was like, Yeah, of course. It’s Daniel Craig. Of course I’m down,”
How does it fit into Queer?
Queer is a 2024 film directed by Luca Guadagnino and written by Justin Kuritzkes. Set in 1950s Mexico City, it follows William Lee, an American expatriate played by Craig, whose solitary life changes after he meets Eugene Allerton, played by Starkey. The film adapts William S. Burroughs’s 1985 novella.

Apollo’s encounter is distinct from the later intimate scenes between Lee and Eugene. A24’s production notes discuss intimacy coordination for those scenes, but the available accounts do not establish that Apollo’s scene used the same arrangement. Apollo has said he trusted the people filming his scene; that is his account, not a general description of production practice.

A24’s official film page lists digital viewing outlets, though availability can vary by region and over time. For a physical copy, A24’s official Blu-ray listing includes a 1080p HD presentation and bonus material: commentary, a 35-minute making-of documentary, scene and VFX breakdowns, miniatures behind-the-scenes material, the “Te Maldigo” music video, and six collectible postcards.
