Oasis: Supersonic is the 2016 documentary about the band’s rise—not the film about its reunion tour. The newer documentary, Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger, covers the reunion and the 2025 Live ’25 tour. Max availability for either film is not confirmed by the sources cited here.
Two Oasis documentaries, two different stories
The title can easily cause confusion: Supersonic and Don’t Look Back in Anger are separate films, made a decade apart and focused on different periods of the band’s history.

Is Oasis: Supersonic on Max?
A current Max listing is not confirmed by the available official sources. Check the Max catalogue for your region before subscribing or searching for the film there.
A24 lists Supersonic on DVD and Blu-ray and links to Amazon on its official film page. Treat that as a physical-media option, not confirmation of a current streaming service listing.

At the Venice Film Festival, the Associated Press described the documentary as both a concert film and an exploration of the brothers’ relationship. AP reported the directors’ statement: “We set out to make a film about the reconciliation of two brothers, infamous for their volatile relationship, but we also wanted to make a film about the power of music and the way Oasis’ songs have continued to have a life of their own, as the band lay dormant for 15 years. The documentary, like the reunion and the tour, took on a life of its own.” AP’s Venice report.

If you want the context behind the reunion, Supersonic goes back to the band’s ascent and the volatile sibling dynamic that became part of its public story. Its focus is not the Live ’25 tour; it offers the earlier chapter against which the reunion documentary can be viewed.
