The headline “October 5 Will Be a Sad Day for One Piece Anime Fans” is circulating, but the available source does not say what happens on that date—or which year it means. There is not enough verified information to tell fans that an episode, release, or streaming service will change.
What is supposed to happen on October 5?
That remains unconfirmed. The headline appears among an aggregator’s related results, but the result does not identify an event, year, or affected region. It therefore cannot establish whether the date concerns an anime schedule, streaming availability, manga publication, or something else. The result showing the headline is not an originating report or an official announcement.
Is there a confirmed One Piece anime or manga change?
No specific change is established by the available information. A separate result titled “One Piece Manga 1162” refers to manga chapters and anime episodes, confirming only that the franchise has both formats; it does not connect a product or release to October 5. The manga-related result does not explain the headline.
Until an original report or an official notice from One Piece, a publisher, broadcaster, or streaming service identifies the event, fans should treat the claim as unverified—not as confirmation of a cancellation, departure, delay, or publication change.

What should fans check?
- Look for the original article behind the headline, including its publication date and the year it means.
- Check whether an official One Piece, publisher, broadcaster, or streaming-service notice names the change and the regions it affects.
- Confirm whether the notice concerns the anime, manga, or a particular service; one format or region does not establish a change for all fans.
