Aaron Levine, FOX 13 Seattle’s sports director, won three consecutive games on Jeopardy! before losing in the Thursday episode covered by GeekWire. The October 31, 2025 profile also recounts how he prepared with years of index cards, what the fast-paced taping was like, and where he planned to put his nearly $50,000 in winnings.
Who is Aaron Levine?
Levine is the sports director at FOX 13 Seattle. According to GeekWire’s October 31, 2025 profile, he grew up in Los Angeles watching Jeopardy! with his family. His earlier appearances in competition included The Price Is Right when he was 18 and ESPN’s Dream Job, where he was the national runner-up in 2004.
After moving to Gig Harbor, Levine began going to trivia nights and returned to studying for quiz competitions. GeekWire reports that his televised run ended after three straight wins, with a loss in the Thursday episode discussed in the profile. That account does not provide a complete official game record or establish exact episode air dates.
How did Levine prepare for the show?
Levine began making note cards in 2019, the profile says. He built up boxes of index cards that he used as flash cards across a range of subjects—a sustained routine rather than a last-minute cram session.

GeekWire describes several moments from his games, including a correct Daily Double about Stanford and a clue about the Seattle Seahawks. Levine also missed clues about Bill Gates and Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello, the subject of his Final Jeopardy! response. These are selected moments from the profile, not a full transcript or complete account of his answers.
One bit of stage humor came when Levine wrote his name as “AA ron” on the podium, a reference to a Key & Peele sketch.

What was the taping day like?
GeekWire reports that four games were taped over about four hours, with 15-minute breaks between games for contestants to change outfits. The compressed schedule meant that winning again did not simply mean returning after a night’s rest. Levine described the strain this way:
“No question there’s a mental fatigue aspect to it. I have a brand-new respect for anybody who can win multiple games in a day, let alone survive an entire day and then move on to the next tape day.”

For Levine, the achievement included more than the winnings. He said: “To be able to walk away from that stage and say, ‘Hey, I’m a ‘Jeopardy!’ champion’ and to have done that three times and qualify for a postseason tournament is more than I could have ever dreamed of.” GeekWire’s account identifies him as qualifying for a postseason tournament but does not establish whether he later participated or provide subsequent results.
