Nikki Bella asked for her WWE 2K25 character to be updated after the game’s original model drew criticism from her and her sister, Brie. WrestleZone later reported that Patch 1.27 gave the model a new hairstyle and attire and slightly altered her face; the specific change was not confirmed in the official patch-note material reviewed here.
Why Nikki Bella asked for a new look
2K announced on September 17, 2025, that Nikki Bella had joined WWE 2K25 as a playable character in the Hall of Legends expansion. The announcement listed Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S as supported platforms for the expansion. 2K’s announcement

That same day, Nikki welcomed the addition but objected to how her character looked. In a post reproduced by Fightful, she wrote: “So grateful. Thank you! 🙏🏼 But we need to update this look ASAP! Please! 😭 If not for me, for my Bella Army. ♥️✨🖤” Fightful’s report
What Nikki and Brie said about the original model
On the Nikki & Brie Show, the sisters were more pointed in their criticism. Fightful’s September 22, 2025, report transcribed Nikki saying, “The whole thing is terrible,” and, “How about the face? I don’t look like that.” Brie criticized the haircut and said, “Girl, your video game character is super ugly.” Fightful’s transcription and report

What the reported Patch 1.27 makeover changed
On October 27, 2025, WrestleZone reported that WWE 2K25 Patch 1.27 revised Nikki’s in-game model. According to that report, the update gave her a new hairstyle and attire and made a slight change to her face. WrestleZone based its account on social posts and creator footage. WrestleZone’s report
The distinction in sourcing matters: 2K’s announcement confirms Nikki’s playable-character arrival, but the official patch-note material reviewed here does not confirm the Nikki-specific makeover. WWE 2K’s support page provides general game information rather than verification of this model change. WWE 2K25 support

How to interpret the update
- Confirmed by 2K: Nikki Bella was added as a playable character in the Hall of Legends expansion.
- Reported by WrestleZone: Patch 1.27 changed her hairstyle, attire, and face.
