Where the spangram runs
THATSFUNNY runs from the top edge in the third column to the bottom edge in the fourth column.
How Strands hints work
The board has 48 letters arranged in six rows and eight columns. Trace connected letters to form theme words; the theme words do not overlap. The spangram is a theme word or phrase that connects opposite edges. Finding three non-theme words of at least four letters earns an in-game hint that highlights letters in a theme word.
