Watch the official trailer on Netflix Tudum. Netflix’s trailer transcript frames a central question as: “Was there an intruder, or was the family involved?” That is a question posed by the program, not evidence establishing who was responsible.
In the trailer, John Ramsey says, “I did not kill my daughter JonBenét.” This is his statement, not a legal or investigative finding.
What the documentary covers
Netflix describes the 2024 program as a three-part docuseries directed by Joe Berlinger. Its stated focus is the law-enforcement investigation and the media’s handling of JonBenét Ramsey’s homicide. Netflix’s description and trailer present the series’ perspective; they should not be treated as an official determination of what happened or as a substitute for the underlying case record. What is known about the case status
As of its November 27, 2024 report, the Associated Press said nobody had been prosecuted in the case. The AP quoted Boulder Police Chief Steve Redfearn as saying that investigators had “thoroughly investigated multiple people as suspects throughout the years” and remained open-minded while reviewing tips. That is a dated public update, not a statement about developments after the report. Read the AP report.

Don’t confuse it with Netflix’s 2026 dramatized series
Cold Case: Who Killed JonBenét Ramsey is the three-part documentary released in 2024. Netflix separately announced The Murder of JonBenét Ramsey, a dramatized limited series scheduled for December 10, 2026. The titles refer to different programs and formats. Netflix’s announcement of the dramatized series identifies its planned release date.
