Naomi Watts praised Nicole Kidman’s work and fearlessness in a British Vogue interview, saying Kidman was “at the epitome of her sexuality in her 50s” and adding, “power to her.”
What did Naomi Watts say about Nicole Kidman?
Asked about her friend Nicole Kidman, Watts called her at the “absolute tippy-top” of her game and praised the breadth of her work and her fearlessness in taking on different roles. She then said: “And then, at the epitome of her sexuality in her 50s? I mean, power to her!” British Vogue’s interview is the original source for the remarks.

Watts was praising Kidman’s public presence and career. Her comment is an expression of admiration, not a report about Kidman’s private life.
What was the interview about?
Watts was speaking to British Vogue while promoting her book Dare I Say It: Everything I Wish I’d Known About Menopause. The book provides context for the interview; Watts’s remarks about Kidman were part of their conversation, not a claim that the book is about Kidman or sexuality.

A Yahoo Entertainment report published January 21, 2025 also recounted the praise and identified the Vogue interview as its context. British Vogue remains the original source for Watts’s words.
