All answers for December 18, 2024

Spoilers below. The six theme words are:

  • TIRES
  • BALLERINA
  • PINWHEEL
  • FOOTBALL
  • EARTH
  • DRYER

Why these words fit the theme

Each answer is connected with spinning, turning, or rotation: tires rotate as a vehicle moves; a ballerina performs turns; a pinwheel turns in moving air; a football spins when thrown; Earth rotates; and a dryer tumbles clothes. The clue’s “revolution” is about rotation, not political upheaval.
