Try to form four groups of four words around a shared connection. These clues move from general to more specific without naming the categories or showing the answers.
- Yellow: To part ways.
- Green: Metrics used for a certain sport.
- Blue: Individuals who share a first name or nickname.
- Purple: “Celt,” “Pace” and “Nugg” could fit here.

Spoilers below. Parade’s March 25 answer list gives these four groups:
- Move on From a Player: CUT, RELEASE, TRADE, WAVE.
- Baseball Stats, Abbreviated: AB, BB, OPS, SO.
- Famous Bos: BICHETTE, JACKSON, NIX, RYAN.
- First Four Letters of NBA Team Names: CAVA, CLIP, HORN, ROCK.
There is a discrepancy in the first group: Parade lists WAVE, while a second search result lists WAIVE. Parade is the source used for the transcription above; the other result corroborates the remaining groups but does not resolve which spelling the puzzle intended.
