Professional wrestler Mike “Cash Flo” Walden plays Bigfoot on Tulsa King. He says appearing in Netflix’s wrestling documentary The Wrestlers helped open doors to acting, including the audition that led to the Paramount+ crime drama. Walden has described working with Sylvester Stallone as surreal—and says the storytelling, camera awareness and physical performance he learned in wrestling carry over to screen work.

Who is Mike “Cash Flo” Walden on Tulsa King?

Walden is a longtime professional wrestler who performed as Cash Flo and plays Bigfoot on Tulsa King. F4WOnline identifies him as an OVW wrestler and the actor behind Bigfoot in its interview synopsis. TVLine also identifies Walden as the wrestler who performed under the Cash Flo name, reporting that he competed under it for more than 30 years in its profile.

The series follows Dwight “The General” Manfredi, played by Stallone, after he is released from prison and sent to establish a criminal operation in Tulsa. A season-three overview describes the Dunmires, a powerful old-money family, as a major adversary and lists Walden among the cast; it does not provide a detailed account of Bigfoot’s character arc. BlackFilmandTV’s season-three overview identifies Paramount+ as the series’ exclusive premiere platform in its announcement.

How did Walden move from wrestling into acting?

Walden credited Netflix’s The Wrestlers with helping create opportunities beyond the ring. In a Fightful interview published October 14, 2025, he said the documentary “really opened some doors for me.” He recalled first receiving wrestling-related opportunities, then, about a year later, getting an audition request for Tulsa King from his agent. Fightful’s report presents these as Walden’s account of how the opportunity came about.

Walden also recalled receiving a call from Stallone. He said the moment felt surreal and that he initially doubted the praise. As quoted by Fightful, Stallone told him: “You’re amazing. You have this look.” TVLine separately quoted Walden recalling Stallone saying, “On camera, you’re so powerful. I need you on my team.” These are distinct recollections reported by the two outlets; they should not be combined into a single conversation or treated as a verified transcript of one exchange.

What does Walden say wrestling taught him about acting?

Walden sees a connection in the work of communicating a story to an audience. In his October 15, 2025 Fightful interview, he said, “If you truly know what professional wrestling is, then it’s just a natural evolution to move into the film industry because it’s all about being in the moment.” He pointed to presence, facial expression, camera angles and lighting as skills that can transfer from wrestling to film and television.

That overlap does not mean the jobs feel the same. TVLine quoted Walden calling acting “totally different” from wrestling and “extremely hard.” His point is that experience performing for an audience and camera can help, not that wrestling automatically makes screen acting easy.

How does wrestling experience help with screen fight scenes?

Walden said his ring experience helps him understand how camera angles can make staged contact look convincing without a real hit landing. “It helps coming from professional wrestling because of the camera angles,” he told Fightful. He also credited fight choreographer Freddie Poole and Stallone’s experience with fight choreography, as reported in that interview.

Walden contrasted screen fights with wrestling in terms of physical demands and repeatability. He described wrestling as more physically demanding, while noting that screen scenes can be adjusted over multiple takes. Repeating a sequence can still be arduous; his comparison is his own perspective, not a universal measure of either profession.
