“Ever wondered what goes on in the mind of a sleeping Smurf?” asks Microids in its August 26, 2024 announcement. In the game’s premise, Gargamel curses the sarsaparilla bushes. Smurfs who eat the leaves fall into a deep sleep, and the player’s task is to awaken them before Gargamel reaches the village.
The adventure takes place across fantastical dream worlds that can turn into darker nightmares. Microids describes the trailer as presenting story and gameplay, but its announcement provides no scene-by-scene account or comparison with previous trailers. So “more story than ever before” is a headline characterization, not a measured claim about how much narrative the video reveals.

How much content does Microids advertise?
Microids’ official product page lists four dream worlds, twelve levels and sixteen mini-levels. The publisher’s October 24, 2024 launch announcement repeats those counts. They are publisher-stated features, not independently tested totals.
