They do not independently establish that this was the first concept-art reveal. The “first” claim should therefore be treated as unverified rather than repeated as a confirmed milestone. Nor does character artwork by itself indicate that an anime or TV adaptation is in development.
Is a Naruto–TMNT anime also official?
No Naruto–TMNT anime is confirmed by the cited announcements. The Naruto Official Site’s September 29, 2026 post previews a New York Comic Con panel about a completely new Naruto anime, alongside information about a 2027 card game. That is a separate Naruto franchise announcement, not an adaptation of the TMNT crossover. Details for the event are scheduled for October 10 local time (October 11 in Japan).
