There is no verified public inventory or comparable current appraisal that establishes which watch is the most expensive in Brad Pitt’s collection. Reporting has associated him with a vintage Patek Philippe Nautilus 3700, a customized IWC Ingenieur Ref. 1832, and two Vacheron Constantin 222 variants. Of these, only the 222 variants have a published model-level estimate in the sources cited here—and those figures are estimates, not confirmed sale prices.
What watches are reported in Brad Pitt’s collection?
Published coverage identifies several notable watches, but the evidence differs: one is described in a reported public sighting, others are attributed to his collection, and a separate IWC was developed for a film character. Those distinctions matter when assessing both ownership and price.
| Watch | What the reporting establishes | Price evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Patek Philippe Nautilus 3700 ‘Jumbo’ | GQ reported seeing Pitt wearing a vintage example in New York. | No current value stated by GQ. |
| IWC Ingenieur Ref. 1832 | GQ identifies a customized example in its collection coverage; customization details are not specified. | No verified valuation stated by GQ. |
| Vacheron Constantin 222, gold and steel variants | SCMP reports two variants associated with Pitt: a solid-gold Historiques model and a vintage stainless-steel version. | SCMP’s 2023 coverage estimated approximately US$95,000–US$100,000 for each; these are estimates, not confirmed sale prices. |
| IWC watch for F1: The Movie | GQ says Pitt participated in developing a custom IWC watch for the film. This is a character- or production-related watch, not evidence of personal ownership. | No personal-collection valuation stated by GQ. |
Which watch is the most expensive?
The available reporting does not support a definitive answer. The Vacheron Constantin 222 variants are the only watches in these sources with model-level price estimates, but there is no comparable current valuation for the Nautilus 3700 or Ingenieur Ref. 1832. A reported sighting also does not establish that Pitt still owns the watch. Rarity or brand prestige alone cannot establish a reliable price ranking.
What is known about each reported watch?
Patek Philippe Nautilus 3700 ‘Jumbo’
GQ reports that Pitt was seen wearing a vintage Nautilus 3700 ‘Jumbo’ in New York, and describes the reference as Patek Philippe’s first automatic movement watch. This supports the claim that he wore the model; it does not confirm continuing ownership. GQ does not provide a current valuation. Read GQ’s coverage of Pitt’s watches.

Customized IWC Ingenieur Ref. 1832
GQ names a customized Ingenieur Ref. 1832 among the watches in its collection coverage. The available description does not specify what was changed or give a verified market value, so a precise price cannot be attached to this example from that reporting.
Vacheron Constantin 222 variants
SCMP reports a solid-gold Historiques 222 and a vintage stainless-steel 222 associated with Pitt. Its 2023 article gives an approximate US$95,000–US$100,000 estimate for each. That range is the publication’s estimate, not a documented transaction or current appraisal; it should not be treated as a confirmed price or a basis for ranking the models against watches without comparable valuations. See SCMP’s 2023 report and estimates.

The IWC developed for F1: The Movie
GQ reports that Pitt had a hand in developing a custom IWC watch for his character in F1: The Movie. A role in designing or developing a screen watch does not establish that the actor owns the production piece. GQ’s feature also mentions Pitt’s personal watch interests, including a Vacheron Constantin 222 and a Patek Philippe 3800/1J; it does not provide comparable current prices for them. Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to interpret claims about the collection’s value
SCMP’s 2023 coverage reported an estimate of at least US$30 million for Pitt’s collection. That is an attributed media estimate, not a verified appraisal: the reporting cited here does not establish a complete authenticated inventory or a valuation method that can be independently assessed. It should not be presented as a confirmed collection value.

For individual watches, a photographed sighting, a reported ownership claim, an editorial estimate, an asking price, and a completed auction sale are different kinds of evidence. The published material here supplies a reported sighting, collection coverage, and estimates; it does not provide a consistent set of recent sale prices for all the named models. Values may also change over time, so estimates from 2023 should not be described as current market prices.
