Cinemark’s catalog separately lists two Moana 2 popcorn buckets. Regal’s original nacho boat and wave container are not confirmed as currently available, and a different Regal boat-shaped bucket is tied to the live-action Moana, not Moana 2.
What did Regal reveal for Moana 2?
Contemporaneous coverage in October 2024 described two Regal theater collectibles: Moana’s outrigger nacho boat and a wave popcorn container. The reveal was for the animated Moana 2, which Disney says opened theatrically on November 27, 2024. The film follows Moana after a call from her wayfinding ancestors leads her into dangerous, long-lost waters. ComingSoon’s report on the reveal is secondary coverage, not a current Regal product listing.
The reported broader lineup also included a popcorn tin and cup. The available reveal coverage establishes the items’ identities, but does not provide verified present-day stock information for the nacho boat or wave container.

Is Regal’s Moana boat popcorn bucket the Moana 2 nacho boat?
No. Regal currently lists a distinct product called the Moana Ancestors Boat Light-Up Popcorn Bucket. Regal describes it as inspired by the ancestral canoe from Disney’s live-action Moana. It is a light-up popcorn bucket—not the outrigger nacho boat reported in Regal’s 2024 Moana 2 reveal.
Rank #2

Regal’s listing gives this separate bucket a 130-ounce capacity, plastic construction, dimensions of 6 × 7 × 7 inches, hand-wash-only care, and included AAA batteries. Those specifications apply only to the live-action-inspired light-up bucket. Its listed price and availability may change; check Regal’s product page for current details.
Where can you buy the original Moana 2 nacho boat?
The available sources do not verify a current official listing or stock for Regal’s exact 2024 outrigger nacho boat or wave popcorn container. The reveal confirms that the items were announced, but does not establish that they can still be purchased from Regal. Treat marketplace search results cautiously: confirm the seller, the product name, and whether the listing is for the Moana 2 nacho boat rather than another Moana-themed boat bucket.

Novelty concession vessels have become a notable part of movie-theater merchandising, but industry figures should not be mistaken for sales of a particular film’s merchandise. In a November 26, 2024 feature, TIME reported that AMC Theatres’ revenue from collectible concession vessels was $0 in 2018 and $54 million in 2023. Those are historical, company-wide figures—not sales figures for any Moana 2 item. In the same feature, AMC director of food and beverage product strategy Rob Bennett said, “We rank coolness over functionality kind of all the time.” TIME’s feature on collectible theater popcorn buckets offers that broader context; no Moana 2-specific sales figure is established here.
