Monument Valley 3 launched through Netflix Games on December 10, 2024, but the Netflix announcement is no longer the full picture: the game was later released for PC and consoles. Its current platform options and access terms depend on your region and the edition you choose.
Is Monument Valley 3 still on Netflix?
The “now available for Netflix subscribers” description refers to the game’s original launch on December 10, 2024. At launch, players could access it through Netflix on mobile, using Netflix credentials; ustwo Games announced availability through the Apple App Store and Google Play as well as within the Netflix mobile app. ustwo Games’ launch announcement
Netflix still has a Monument Valley 3 media listing, but a listing does not confirm that subscribers can currently download or play the game. The official pages reviewed do not establish when, or whether, the Netflix edition left the service. Check Netflix and your local app store for current access rather than assuming the 2024 launch terms still apply.
Where can you play Monument Valley 3 now?
ustwo Games announced global availability for the standalone PC and console release on July 22, 2025. The announced platforms are Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. ustwo Games’ PC and console release announcement

For mobile, the current U.S. Apple App Store listing describes two chapters as free, followed by a one-time in-app purchase to unlock the full game, including the Garden of Life expansion. That is the arrangement shown on the U.S. listing, not a guarantee of the same terms in every country. Check the live listing for your region for current access and price. Do you need Netflix to play it?
Netflix credentials were required for access to the original Netflix Games mobile release. They are not stated as a requirement for the later standalone PC and console release, or for the U.S. App Store listing’s free chapters and purchase option. These are separate release models; check the store page for the edition you intend to use before buying or subscribing.

How does Monument Valley 3 play?
The game is a puzzle adventure starring Noor, an apprentice seeking a new source of light as the world’s light fades. Its puzzles center on optical illusions: rotate and manipulate architecture and environments to change perspective and reveal routes that were hidden from view. ustwo Games’ game page
The PC and console release also includes sailing through open-play waters. ustwo says those versions can be played with a gamepad or with a keyboard and mouse. The developer describes the visual design as drawing on architecture from around the world, experimental artists, and personal stories. ustwo Games’ PC and console release announcement

Which edition should you choose?
The most practical differences to check are how the edition is sold, which controls suit you, and what content the listing says is included. The available sources do not establish that all editions have feature or chapter parity, or that progress transfers between them.
