No destination or date has been confirmed for a future international trip by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in the sources available. Their family ties to the monarchy do not make private travel an official royal tour.
Has Harry and Meghan’s next international trip been announced?
There is no verified announcement in the available reporting that identifies where or when the couple will travel next. No trip-specific statement from Harry, Meghan, their representatives, or a host organization establishes an itinerary, purpose, or royal connection. Treat claims about a particular upcoming destination as unconfirmed unless a reliable report or direct statement supports them.
What is confirmed about their recent international travel?
The Associated Press reported that Harry and Meghan arrived in Melbourne on 14 April 2026 for a privately funded, four-day visit to Australia. It was their first visit to Australia since their 2018 official royal tour. The 2026 visit was private, not a return to the official duties associated with the 2018 tour. Associated Press, 14 April 2026.
Would a future trip be an official royal tour?
Not on the basis of family ties alone. The Royal Family’s 18 January 2020 statement said Harry and Meghan would step back from royal duties, including official military appointments, while remaining members of the family. The Royal Family’s statement is the primary source for that change.

In September 2026, the Associated Press reported that King Charles reiterated that the couple remained non-working members of the royal family after their return to the UK, and that charity work would be undertaken privately. A trip could therefore involve their family connection or private charitable activity without being an official royal engagement. Associated Press, 7 September 2026.

A reliable confirmation should identify the destination and dates and make clear who announced the trip, its stated purpose, and whether it is private or an official engagement. Until such details are reported or announced directly, the next destination and any royal role remain unknown.
