Donnie Wahlberg is married to TV personality Jenny McCarthy, and Sonequa Martin-Green is reported to be married to actor Kenric Green. Those are real-life relationships—not clues about the characters they play in Boston Blue. Public information about other principal cast members is less definite, and a lack of public details does not mean someone is single.
Which Boston Blue cast relationships are publicly reported?
CBS identifies the principal cast and their roles as Donnie Wahlberg (Danny Reagan), Sonequa Martin-Green (Lena Silver), Gloria Reuben (Mae Silver), Maggie Lawson (Sarah Silver), Marcus Scribner (Jonah Silver), Ernie Hudson (Reverend Edwin Peters), and Mika Amonsen (Sean Reagan). The table below separates reported current relationships from information that is not publicly established in the cited coverage.

The cast and roles are listed on CBS’s Boston Blue series page. Relationship details for the less-documented cast members should be read narrowly: the roundup does not confirm a current partner, which is not proof that a performer is single.
Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy
CBS News’s October 12, 2025 profile describes Jenny McCarthy as Wahlberg’s wife and reports that they share a home outside Chicago. In the profile, McCarthy says, “We have very similar upbringings, which really helps.” Wahlberg adds, “Lotta therapy we’ve each had, and together.” The remarks appear in the context of their relationship and family; they do not establish details beyond what the couple shared in that account. Sonequa Martin-Green and Kenric Green
TV Insider’s 2025 cast relationship roundup reports that Martin-Green is married to actor Kenric Green. That is the extent of the relationship detail established here; the roundup is not a basis for adding claims about their wedding date or family. See TV Insider’s cast relationship roundup.
What is known about the other principal cast members?
The same TV Insider roundup discusses Gloria Reuben, Maggie Lawson, Marcus Scribner, Ernie Hudson, and Mika Amonsen, but does not provide a confirmed current partner for each. Relationship coverage can include past relationships or limited biographical detail; neither should be converted into a claim about someone’s current status. Unless a performer has publicly confirmed a partner in the cited coverage, the careful answer is that a current relationship is not established there—not that the person is single.

No. Danny and Lena’s partnership is part of Boston Blue, not evidence of a romance between Wahlberg and Martin-Green. In a CBS News interview about working with Martin-Green, Wahlberg described the connection as professional, saying, “Not that it’s romantic or anything, but he meets an equal.” The remark is about their on-screen and collaborative working relationship, not a real-life relationship claim. CBS’s series description and episode guide concern the fictional characters and storylines. Plot developments and screen chemistry do not establish actors’ biographies.
