Who are Drew Barrymore’s daughters?

What has Barrymore said about Olive and Frankie?
In a 2020 segment, Barrymore offered her own impressions of the girls’ temperaments. The official Drew Barrymore Show transcript records her saying: “Maybe it’s an age thing. Because Olive is extremely, it is all on her terms, she’s stubborn, she’s brave, she’s like super cool and Frankie is like the touchiest, coziest.”
Those are Barrymore’s observations at that moment, not definitive or permanent descriptions of either child. She framed the contrast tentatively, suggesting it might be related to age.

What parenting priorities has Barrymore discussed?
In a 2015 TIME interview, Barrymore described the importance of her and Kopelman’s parental roles at that point in their lives: “We are parents even more than husband and wife or worker bees.”
A 2016 ABC News report quoted Barrymore describing her approach to raising her children: “But having grown up in the opposite way, I’m raising my children with all consistency, all protection.” In 2023, ABC’s Good Morning America reported that Barrymore discussed being open with her children about her past. That report establishes the interview topic, not the details of private conversations between mother and daughters.
