McDonald’s Canada’s best match for its “new McShaker” fries headline is the limited-time All Dressed McShaker Fries promotion launched August 12, 2025, as part of Shania’s Sides. The fries were made with 100% Canadian potatoes; the seasoning was added to the bag and shaken. That 2025 promotion should not be mistaken for a current October 2026 menu item: McDonald’s Canada has since mentioned a separate Ramyeon McShaker Fries offer, but current local availability needs to be checked with the restaurant or in the app.
What were the All Dressed McShaker Fries?
McDonald’s Canada announced Shania’s Sides on August 11, 2025, with the promotion beginning the next day at participating Canadian restaurants. Its All Dressed McShaker Fries paired the chain’s World Famous Fries, described as made from 100% Canadian potatoes, with All Dressed seasoning. Customers were instructed to put the seasoning in the fries bag and shake it to coat the fries.
The fries were one part of a Shania Twain collaboration. The limited-time promotion also featured a strawberry pie and a cowboy boot keychain with a qualifying Extra Value Meal. McDonald’s Canada described the campaign in its August 11, 2025 announcement.
What does McShaker seasoning mean?
McShaker is a format for seasoning fries in the bag, rather than a single fixed flavor. The seasoning is added, the bag is closed, and the fries are shaken so the flavor spreads across them. McDonald’s Canada said the concept was introduced in Hong Kong in 2005.

Are McShaker Fries still available in Canada?
The All Dressed flavor was a limited-time 2025 promotion. McDonald’s Canada’s menu spotter later listed Ramyeon McShaker Fries as part of the K-Pop Demon Hunters Meal on May 12, 2026. That separate listing does not establish that All Dressed returned or that Ramyeon remains available in October 2026.
Restaurant menus and promotional availability can vary. Check the McDonald’s Canada app or contact a participating local restaurant for the current menu before making a trip.

What is in the All Dressed seasoning?
The campaign announcement names the flavor but does not provide a complete ingredient declaration for the All Dressed seasoning. Do not treat the flavor name as a full ingredient or allergen list. McDonald’s Canada says promotional products may not appear in standard nutrition information, formulations can change, and shared preparation areas can create allergen contact. For dietary or allergy concerns, consult current ingredient details in the official app or on the menu site and speak with a physician. Its Snacks & Sides menu guidance explains these limitations.
