During the episode, Kelly responded to Callahan’s description by saying, “I’m sorry. Maureen Callahan made the comparison first
Callahan, a guest on the show and a Daily Mail columnist, said Bezos had “transformed himself into some sort of very taught, muscular, bald, glowing personage that to me resembles a walking penis.” The transcript spells the word “taught” that way. Kelly then agreed with Callahan’s comparison rather than introducing it herself. TV Insider’s June 28, 2025 account also identifies Callahan as the first to make the comparison and Kelly as agreeing with her.
The wedding context—and what the remark represents
The conversation concerned Bezos’s appearance and his wedding to Lauren Sánchez. The phrase was the speakers’ personal, mocking commentary about his appearance—not a factual finding. The reports and transcript cited here establish the exchange and its context, not the basis for any speculation about how his appearance changed.
