What is in Meghan Markle’s photo of Archie and Lilibet?
Us Weekly’s March 24, 2025 report describes Archie holding Meghan’s right leg as she hugs him, while she carries Lilibet in her left arm. Archie wears grey jeans, a matching long-sleeved shirt and sneakers. Lilibet wears a sweater, dress and straw hat, and holds a woven basket. Meghan wears jeans, a white linen shirt and a wide-brimmed hat. Us Weekly’s report attributed the caption “Every day is a love story 🕊️” to Meghan’s post.

The children’s ages in that report—5 and 3—refer to the time of the 2025 post, not their ages today. Us Weekly does not establish when or where the photograph was taken. It speculated that the scene might be in a backyard and that the family could be heading to pick flowers or home-grown food; those details are not confirmed.
How to distinguish this image from later family photos
Later reports covered separate posts, not the image described above. ABC News reported in June 2026 on a “Springing into summer 🌼” carousel featuring Meghan, Harry and the children, with the children’s faces hidden. The report also referred to a separate May 6 birthday post for Archie.

Parade’s May 6, 2026 report described that birthday post as two images: Archie as a newborn with Harry, and a more recent wide shot of Archie and Lilibet from behind, walking barefoot near water and facing mountains. Those are different images from the March 2025 photo.
