Mandurah Crab Fest ran from 14–16 March 2025 across foreshore and city-centre locations. Before the festival, a PerthNow/Mandurah Times report previewed Rogue Traders as Saturday’s headline act, with a set expected at 8pm. That was an advance plan, not confirmation of what ultimately took place.

Vocalist Natalie Bassingthwaighte said, “I think what we love most about Crab Fest is the family fun,” while keyboardist and band mainstay James Ash said, “It’s entertainment for kids as well as the grown-ups and it’s going to be a lot of fun.” PerthNow/Mandurah Times preview

The live-band report and the program’s DJ wording
The descriptions of Rogue Traders’ appearance differ between the advance news report and the official program. The report described a live-band headline set. In the program welcome, Mayor Caroline Knight wrote: “We’re proud to welcome Ricki-Lee Coulter and the Rogue Traders’ DJ set headlining two huge days of festival fun.” The wording identifies a DJ set; the documents do not establish how the descriptions relate to one another.
