Lainey Wilson’s “4x4xU” is a love song about feeling at home wherever you are when you’re beside someone you love. Wilson co-wrote the track with Jon Decious and Aaron Raitiere, and Jay Joyce produced it. It appears on her album Whirlwind.
What is “4x4xU” about?
Wilson and her label describe “4x4xU” as a stripped-back love song about the comfort and peace of finding home in another person. In BBR Music Group’s July 5, 2024 release announcement, Wilson put the idea this way: “This song is about finding that someone that gives you the comfort and peace of home anywhere in the world as long as you’re by their side.” BBR Music Group
