Soares said the designers brought together scenes important to the Death Star’s story across the films. How large is set 75419?
LEGO publishes two substantially different dimension sets. Its September 2025 announcement lists the model as 52.3 cm high × 48.0 cm wide × 38.3 cm deep. The current US product page instead says over 70 cm high × 79 cm wide × 27 cm deep. The figures do not reconcile, so treat them as conflicting official specifications rather than combining them or assuming one is a correction. What did LEGO say about the build?
The model’s circular structure required particular attention to support. Soares described the challenge to StarWars.com: “We had to make sure that the bottom half of the circle structure was very sturdy, because that is the foundation of the entire build.” The interview offers a designer’s explanation of the construction, alongside details about how scenes were selected.
