Entertainment Tonight and iHeartRadio reported the program length and connected his disclosure to the podcast appearance and reaction. That figure describes Payne’s reported program, not an independently verified clinical record.

In a YouTube video posted in July 2023, Payne said he had been sober for six months after receiving treatment, according to the Associated Press. This is a later statement by Payne, not independent confirmation of an uninterrupted recovery timeline.
