Kanye West’s India Concert: Date, Venue, Cancellation and Ticket Refunds

Ye’s planned India concert in New Delhi was cancelled, and no replacement India date is confirmed in the sources reviewed as of October 8, 2026. The event was first scheduled for March 29, 2026, then moved to May 23 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium before the organizer announced it would not go ahead. Do not treat old listings as an upcoming show or as an invitation to buy tickets.

Is Kanye West coming to India?

There is no confirmed replacement date for an India concert in the sources checked on October 8, 2026. The official YE tour page lists other 2026 dates but no India show. The organizer’s statement that it was working with Ye’s team to find a new date and venue described an intention at the time of the cancellation announcement; it did not confirm a rescheduled concert.

What were the planned concert date and venue?

The date and venue are historical details, not a current event listing. The plan was for one New Delhi show, not a confirmed multi-city India tour. White Fox founder Aman N. rejected Mumbai and other-city tour claims as false and unauthorized when discussing the original plan, before its cancellation. Variety India reported his comments.

Why was the concert cancelled?

The explanations reported at different points were not identical. The March notice moving the show from March 29 to May 23 cited geopolitical conditions and regional tensions. When White Fox announced the cancellation on May 15, it cited security advisories and directives from government and law-enforcement authorities amid a high-alert situation in the capital. The Indian Express reproduced the organizer’s cancellation statement.

There was also a competing account about whether government directions had been issued: Hindustan Times reported that Delhi tourism minister Kapil Mishra said the government had not issued directions to cancel, and that an official said no formal or informal directions had been issued. The available reporting does not independently resolve that disagreement, so the cancellation reason should be attributed to the parties reporting it rather than presented as an uncontested finding.

Were tickets available, and what about refunds?

District was the reported ticketing partner for the cancelled event. White Fox said official District ticket holders would receive full refunds. India Today reported an expected refund window of five to seven business days; that timing was an expectation reported at the time, not confirmation that every buyer received a refund.

• There is no active India concert sale established by the sources reviewed, so District should not be presented as selling tickets to a current Ye India show.
• If you bought a ticket and the refund remains unresolved, contact the original ticketing platform through its current official support channel.
• The available reports do not establish whether any individual refund was completed.
• Do not treat unofficial resale listings as confirmation of an event or as official access.

What should readers check before trusting a future announcement?

If an India date is announced later, verify the details through official artist and organizer channels before booking. Check the city and venue, event date, named ticketing partner, sale status, and refund or transfer terms. The official YE tour page is a live schedule source, but schedules can change; a past ticket page, news article, or old social post is not proof that a new event is on sale.
