His streams were reported as one contributor to the game’s Twitch resurgence ahead of Shadow of the Erdtree, but the available figures do not isolate how much of the broader rise he caused.
How large were Cenat’s Elden Ring streams?
TwitchTracker recorded a peak of 172,278 concurrent viewers during Cenat’s June 21–23, 2024 stream; the Elden Ring segments averaged 116,089 viewers. Its record for his June 25–26 stream shows a peak of 187,601 while he was playing the game. These are stream-level audience figures from TwitchTracker, not official Twitch disclosures or independently audited platform statistics.

The two peaks show the scale of attention around Cenat’s marathon. They describe viewers watching his channel, not the total audience for Elden Ring across Twitch.
How did the run fit the pre-DLC Twitch surge?
Shadow of the Erdtree launched on June 20, 2024. Streams Charts reported that Elden Ring was gaining Twitch attention in the lead-up to the expansion and described Cenat’s marathon as part of that renewed interest. The timing made his streams a visible focal point for the game just before the release.

That is evidence of overlap and a reported contribution, not a measured causal effect. The available reporting does not calculate how much of Elden Ring’s broader Twitch growth came from Cenat, and the impending expansion was another major reason viewers may have returned to the game.
What happened to Elden Ring viewership on launch day?
Streams Charts reported that Elden Ring’s Twitch category exceeded 657,300 concurrent viewers and recorded 4.2 million hours watched on June 20, the expansion’s release day. Those are category-wide figures, distinct from the peaks on Cenat’s individual channel. The launch-day numbers show how broad interest rose around the release; they should not be attributed to his earlier marathon.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What the figures can—and cannot—show
- Cenat’s channel: TwitchTracker’s stream records capture the audience for his broadcasts, including the reported peaks and the average during Elden Ring segments.
- The game category: Streams Charts’ launch-day figures measure activity across the Elden Ring category on Twitch.
- The relationship: The sources place Cenat’s popular streams within a wider resurgence ahead of the DLC, but do not provide a controlled comparison that establishes his share of the category’s growth.
Streams Charts’ June roundup also said Cenat led its Twitch channel rankings for a second consecutive month and that his Elden Ring streams were particularly popular. It separately identified a stream with Kevin Hart and Druski as his highest single-audience turnout that month. That distinction matters: his Elden Ring streams were prominent, but the roundup did not say they produced his monthly audience high.
