Kendall Jenner’s August 2025 Instagram photo showed her in a minimal black thong bikini, according to reports published just after Labor Day. The coverage described ruched string bottoms and a matching barely-there top, but did not identify the swimsuit’s brand or model.
What the reports said about Jenner’s bikini
AOL republished an InStyle report on September 2, 2025, describing Jenner in a “minuscule black thong bikini” in the third slide of an August photo collection. The bottoms had ruched strings, and the top was described as a matching minimal style. AOL’s report framed the post as a way to mark summer’s unofficial end around Labor Day.
In a report published September 3, 2025, ¡HOLA! also described a black thong bikini with ruched string bottoms and a barely-there, bra-like top with thin straps. These descriptions are the reporters’ characterizations of the look, not statements from Jenner about the swimsuit.
Was the bikini’s brand identified?
No. Neither report named a brand or model, so the swimsuit cannot be reliably identified from this coverage. A similar black string-thong bikini may evoke the look, but it should be treated as an alternative rather than the exact item Jenner wore.

When was the photo shared?
The reports place the photo in an August 2025 Instagram collection and say it appeared on the third slide. The original post’s precise publication date was not verified. AOL reported that its caption was “Sunday”; that caption is attributed to AOL’s coverage, not independently confirmed from Jenner’s original post.
