The casting report described Jorge as a villain and Sebastián’s character as serious; it did not say whether they shared scenes.
What was the telenovela?
El precio de amarte is a melodrama produced by Carmen Armendáriz and filmed in Mexico. People en Español reported the father-and-son casting on July 12, 2024, describing it as the first time Jorge and Sebastián had been together in a telenovela cast. That wording does not establish that it was their first collaboration in every medium, or that they appeared together on screen. People en Español’s 2024 report
What roles did Jorge and Sebastián play?
Jorge Poza
Jorge returned to telenovelas after several years away and played a villain. Scarlet Gruber and Marcus Ornellas were named as the leads; Alejandra Barros, Juan Carlos Barreto and Ana Bertha Espín were also among the cast.
Sebastián Poza
Sebastián’s character was described as serious, but the report did not give the character’s name. Producer Carmen Armendáriz told Televisa Digital, “Sebastián hace un personaje padrísimo,” adding that although he is very smiling in life, “aquí no, aquí es un personaje muy serio”. People en Español

Who is Sebastián Poza?
Sebastián is Jorge Poza’s son and the son of actor Mayrín Villanueva. In a 2016 interview cited by People en Español, Jorge said Sebastián had won an earlier acting opportunity through an audition, without help from either parent. “Eso me hace sentir todavía más orgulloso de lo que está haciendo y logrando porque lo está consiguiendo por sus propios medios,” he said. Sebastián began acting at age 12 in 2016; Jorge was also reported to have started his first telenovela at 12. People en Español’s report
How this differs from the later Poza family casting story
A later story about Hermanas, un amor compartido concerns Sebastián and his sister Romina, not Jorge and Sebastián. TVyNovelas reported that the siblings portray characters in different timelines and do not share direct scenes. TVyNovelas
