The lotion linked to Jennifer Aniston in recent beauty coverage is Nécessaire The Body Lotion. But the wording needs a distinction: Shape’s phrase “I also swear by” is the writer Taylor Jeffries’s endorsement, not a quote from Aniston. A separate Us Weekly shopping article reported that the lotion is Aniston’s go-to, attributing that claim to E! News; a direct interview confirming it was not located.
What lotion is associated with Jennifer Aniston?
It is Nécessaire The Body Lotion, a daily moisturizer sold in fragrance-free and scented versions. Shape’s October 6, 2025 coverage placed the lotion among beauty products discussed in connection with Aniston and her partnership with Credo Beauty. In the same article, “which I also swear by” refers to Shape writer Taylor Jeffries’s own experience, not Aniston’s words: Shape’s article.
A July 7, 2025 Us Weekly shopping article says the lotion is Aniston’s go-to and attributes the report to E! News. That is secondary reporting, not a verified direct quotation from Aniston. No direct statement by Aniston about this specific lotion is established here.
What is in Nécessaire The Body Lotion?
Nécessaire describes it as a daily body moisturizer with 2.5% niacinamide, peptides and plant oils. The brand’s listed fragrance-free ingredients include glycerin, jojoba seed oil, niacinamide, peptides, marula seed oil, meadowfoam seed oil and vitamin E. The fragrance-free formula is presented as a neutral base layer. Nécessaire also sells scented versions, including Santal and Hinoki. The brand says the fragrance-free lotion has the National Eczema Association Seal of Approval; the Santal product page says that version does not have the seal. A seal is not a guarantee that a product will suit every person’s skin. Nécessaire warns people with gluten, soy or nut allergies not to use the product.
What does the brand’s moisture claim mean?
Nécessaire says the lotion provides 48-hour moisture and reports results from a two-week study of 50 panelists in Q4 2021. The reported outcomes were self-reported perceptions, not proof that every user will get the same result:

Which version and size should you choose?
Choose fragrance-free if you want an unscented option
The fragrance-free version is the clearest choice if you prefer to avoid added scent or want the variant associated with the National Eczema Association Seal. That association does not establish personal suitability, particularly if you have allergies or known sensitivities; review the package and the brand’s allergy warning.

Choose a scented version if fragrance is part of the appeal
Santal and Hinoki are among the scented options. The Santal page says it does not carry the National Eczema Association Seal of Approval, so do not assume the seal applies across the product range.
