Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra announced The Over and Out Tour as its final tour on March 18, 2024. A later plan for one last performance at London’s BST Hyde Park did not come to pass: Lynne withdrew on doctors’ advice because of a systemic infection, and the festival canceled its final night.

The announcement contains a date discrepancy: its introductory text says the tour would conclude on October 26, while its detailed schedule lists the Kia Forum show in Inglewood on October 25. Both dates appear on the official tour announcement. The advertised dates and original ticket-sale information are historical, not current opportunities to attend.
What was planned for Hyde Park?
In October 2024, ELO announced a planned final performance at BST Hyde Park in London for July 13, 2025. Lynne described the venue as meaningful because his return to touring began there in 2014. In a statement reported by The Guardian, he said Hyde Park seemed “the perfect place” for the final show and that the band looked forward to sharing the night with UK fans.

Was the Hyde Park show canceled?
Yes. On July 12, 2025, Lynne withdrew from the scheduled performance on doctors’ advice because of a systemic infection. BST canceled the festival’s final night and said ticket holders would be contacted by their ticket agents about refunds. The Associated Press reported that ELO had also withdrawn from a Manchester performance on July 10.
The festival’s statement, quoted by the Associated Press, said Lynne was under the care of doctors who advised that performing was not possible and that he would not be able to reschedule. The July 13 Hyde Park performance therefore did not take place.
