La conferencia de prensa que Aleska no pudo ofrecer
El 20 de marzo, Telemundo informó que el abogado de Aleska, Mario Enrique Selvas Carrola, dijo que una amenaza de muerte recibida la noche anterior impidió que su clienta asistiera a una conferencia de prensa. El abogado declaró: «El día de hoy por la noche, nuestra clienta ha sufrido una amenaza de muerte y esa es la razón por la que, al no tener las condiciones de seguridad, no pudimos protegerla para traerla a esta conferencia de prensa» (Telemundo, 20 de marzo de 2025). El 10 de abril, Univision informó que Borgio concedería el perdón a Aleska, aunque al publicarse esa nota aún faltaba la ratificación en audiencia (Univision, 10 de abril de 2025). El 14 de abril, Telemundo informó que Borgio también perdonó a las hermanas de Aleska, que la carpeta quedó cerrada y que Aleska recuperó su libertad y su pasaporte (Telemundo, 14 de abril de 2025).
